Due to the Illinois Department of Public Health's recent urging that Illinois families do their best to stay-at-home, Wolfpack will pause in-person training for the remaining weeks of November effective immediately.
We have consistently followed the guidance of the Illinois Department of Public Health as well as any federal, state and local rules that pertain to our business, and we will continue to keep the well-being of our coaches and players, as well as their families, at the forefront of our decision-making process.
This is not a cancellation just a pause for two weeks. We will plan on resuming training on Monday November 30th. We will add all missing training sessions to the schedule once we resume on November 30th.
Pod Training will begin the first week of November. Please check the website calendar for times and locations. To view the Wolfpack calendar you must be logged into your sportsengine account. Please help us keep track of attendance by marking if your player will be attending the scheduled practice. Having an accurate attendance record will be critical in the event we need to contact trace.
All players will be grouped into grade level pods for November and December. To help control the amount of people entering the gym, we are asking only players enter the gym area. Players will be encouraged to leave the gym quickly to avoid mixing in with the next pod. Please plan on dropping off and picking up within 5 minutes of the posted practice time.
Wolfpack will be following all the guidelines set forth by IDPH as they regard to Youth Sports. As of 10/27/20, basketball now rates as a HIGHER risk sport. HIGHER risk sports are allowed to participate in level 1 types of play only. Level 1 types of play are limited to non contact practices and trainings. Currently, Wolfpack will be requiring face masks to be worn at all times by players and coaches. Players should be masked from the time they enter the facility until they leave. Coaches will closely monitor players and will allow for increased water breaks when needed. When on water breaks, players should maintain social distancing. Wolfpack will continue to monitor IDPH and will adjust and make changes as new guidance comes out.
